AMA Trophy Rules:

Team Trophies:

Auckland Masters Top Team Cup eligibility rules:

1) Must be a fully paid up member of Auckland Masters Athletics.
2) Must be a financial member of a recognised athletics club, in order to score points for that club.
    Members that are not affiliated with another club, will compete for AMA (Auckland Masters).
3) Must wear club uniform or other apparel that clearly identifies you as a member of your club.
4) Athletes who do not meet these requirements, can still participate but will not be eligible to score points for either themselves or a club.
5) Athletes may enter up to a maximum of four events in the Top Team competition.

Individual Trophies:

Gideon Tait Memorial Trophy
Competitors may enter four events only - comprising; one track, one throw, one jump and another event of their choice. Results will be age graded on the members age on the day and compiled on the current five year age tables, and the best overall age graded athlete of the day wins the trophy.

Ernie Haskell Memorial Trophy
This is run over the three Top Team and Gideon Tait meetings. Athletes MUST compete in 3 of the 4 meets and complete both races on the day to be eligible - the 3000m and one other - i.e. 800m, 1500m or 1000m as designated on the programme. Results are compiled on best age graded performances on the day over the three meets.

Fred Tapling Top Team Trophy
Athletes must attend all three Top Team meetings and compete in four events at each one. The four events must comprise of either: 3 track & 1 field or 2 track & 2 field or 3 field & 1 track event. These events will be age graded on age on the five year tables and a total percentage arrived at, which is divided by 12 to arrive at the average percentage performance.
